HEIC to File is a photo and video conversion tool that runs entirely in your browser. When you convert a file, it is processed in your own device's memory using technologies such as WebAssembly. We do not upload, store or transmit your photos or videos to any server. When you close the tab, no copy of your files remains anywhere.

2. What data is stored on your device

For the tool to work, data is stored exclusively in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB):

Preferences (theme, language, output format).
Optional conversion history, which you can clear with one click.
Consent for cookies and ads.

This data never leaves your device and you can delete it at any time from Settings.

3. Cookies and Google AdSense

This tool is funded by advertising. If you accept ads, Google AdSense and Google Analytics 4 are loaded, which may use cookies to show relevant ads and measure usage. These third-party services have their own privacy policies:

Without your consent, no third-party script is loaded. You can change your decision at any time from Settings. Ads never access your files, because conversion happens on your device.

4. Your rights

Since we do not store your data on servers, there is nothing we can keep about you. You can delete all local data (history, preferences and counters) with one click from Settings.
